Hi! I'm Isolde Hill, LPCA

One of my favorite parts of therapy is integrating approaches that honor both mind and body. Inspired by Ram Dass’s teachings on presence, Viktor Frankl’s insights on meaning, and the voices of autism self-advocates, I strive to center authenticity, agency, and lived experience in my work. I often draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), movement therapy, yoga, and breathwork—approaches that help clients connect with their bodies, process emotions, and find tools for self-regulation that feel empowering and accessible. Above all, I love how these practices invite compassion, curiosity, and growth from within, supporting each person as they reclaim their voice and step into the freedom of being fully themselves. -Isolde

Isolde's Purpose Statement: Unveiling Her "Why" as a Therapist

I became a therapist because I genuinely love people and believe in the power of human connection to heal and transform. My passion is helping individuals reclaim agency over their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, guiding them toward a life rooted in intention and self-compassion. To me, therapy is more than a clinical practice—it’s a catalyst for growth and social change. I’m committed to challenging systems that perpetuate harm and empowering communities to rewrite their stories. By supporting people in finding balance and control within themselves, I hope to nurture resilience, equity, and meaningful transformation—one person, one story, one breakthrough at a time. -Isolde Hill, LPCA

A Behind-the-Scenes Look at my Experience as a Therapist

Before each session, I take a moment to pray and center myself. I listen with the intention to truly understand, not just to respond. I’ve learned to leave work at work, allowing me to stay present and balanced. By praying for those I serve, I find deeper empathy and greater clarity in how to best support them.  -Isolde Hill, LPCA

A Memorable Success Story

I once worked with a transgender client who was in the process of transitioning and had been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Over the course of a year, we spent many sessions—sometimes twice a week—focused on helping them connect with their best possible self. They faced challenges with identity, relationships, and family acceptance, often feeling caught between who they were and who they were becoming. Through consistent use of motivational interviewing, positive psychology, and best-self practices, they gradually began to embrace their identity and find peace without relying on the approval of others. It was deeply moving to witness two kinds of transformation unfolding at once—their gender transition and their journey toward self-acceptance. In time, they began to rebuild family relationships, form healthy friendships, and step into life with renewed confidence and joy. -Isolde

Maintaining Balance: How I Prioritize Well-Being to Serve Clients, Myself, and My Family

I rely on a set of spiritual coping practices that I use daily to stay grounded and balanced. I believe that you can’t change the world unless you change yourself, so I prioritize my own well-being first—allowing me to show up fully and care for others with greater compassion and clarity. -Isolde, LPCA
