Hi! I'm Stella Menser, LPCC
“We’re all just walking each other home.” — Ram Dass That quote captures how I view both therapy and lifelong learning. Continuing education, for me, isn’t about checking boxes—it’s an ongoing journey of growth and healing. Through yoga, breathwork, and mindful reflection, I stay grounded and connected, knowing that the more I understand myself, the better I can serve others. I’m also dedicated to learning from research and, most importantly, from autistic self-advocates whose voices keep humanity and authenticity at the heart of my work. -Stella
Stella's Purpose Statement: Unveiling Her "Why" as a Therapist
Growing up with undiagnosed autism, I often felt misunderstood and pressured to dim my light to meet others’ expectations. That experience shaped me and inspired my purpose as a therapist—to create spaces where people can be fully themselves without fear of judgment or rejection. I believe healing begins with safety, connection, and authenticity. In my work, I help clients reconnect with their bodies, honor their emotions, and embrace their true selves through structure, creativity, humor, and play. My mission is to ensure no one feels they have to hide who they are to be worthy of love or belonging. I see each person’s uniqueness as their greatest strength and strive to guide, support, and celebrate that authenticity so their light can shine boldly and without limit.

A Behind-the-Scenes Look at my Experience as a Therapist
In my practice, I integrate approaches that honor both the mind and body. My work is deeply influenced by thinkers like Ram Dass, who teach the power of presence, and Viktor Frankl, who reveals the importance of meaning even in life’s hardest moments. I’m also shaped by autism self-advocates whose voices inspire me to center authenticity, agency, and lived experience. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), movement therapy, yoga, breathwork, and other client-centered techniques, I support clients—especially autistic individuals—in connecting with their bodies, processing big emotions, and discovering empowering tools for self-regulation. What I love most about these approaches is how they nurture growth from within, inviting compassion, curiosity, and creativity as people reclaim their voice, build resilience, and step into the freedom of being fully themselves. -Stella Menser, LPCC
A Memorable Success Story
One of the most meaningful moments in my work came when a teenage client, after weeks of exploring authenticity and self-acceptance, looked at me and said, “I finally saw who I truly am—and she’s awesome.” Watching someone not only recognize but celebrate their true self is why I do this work. Moments like that remind me that healing isn’t just about releasing pain—it’s about embracing your power and stepping fully into your light. -Stella
Maintaining Balance: How I Prioritize Well-Being to Serve Clients, Myself, and My Family
Outside of my work, I believe joy and play are essential parts of a meaningful life. You might find me kayaking on a quiet lake, flowing through yoga, or dancing at drag shows and live concerts where sequins, music, and self-expression shine as brightly as authenticity. At home, my two Black Labs, Spud and Sprouts, keep me grounded and remind me that joy can be as simple as a wagging tail. These parts of my life—movement, music, creativity, laughter, and love for animals—are woven into how I show up as a therapist: connected, playful, and fully human. -Stella, LPCC
