Hi! I'm Katelynn Garry, LPCC

Each morning, I start my day with coffee, breakfast, and a good book to set a calm, intentional tone. I make time midday to recharge—whether through a walk, journaling, or a short meditation—and when I close my computer in the evening, I’m fully done with work. Outside of sessions, I love immersing myself in pop culture and live music, often bringing those connections into therapy to help clients relate and express themselves more freely. As Kelsea Ballerini says, “Crying isn’t a weakness, it’s a pattern of release, a signal that something inside needed to move”—a reminder I carry into both my life and my work. -Katelynn

Katelynn's Purpose Statement: Unveiling Her "Why" as a Therapist

I became a therapist after seeing firsthand how mental health challenges affected my family and community while growing up in a small town. I witnessed the consequences of limited access to therapy and how deeply that lack of support can impact lives. My goal is to help others become the best versions of themselves. Through my own therapy journey, I learned that growth happens outside of our comfort zones—it’s not always easy, but the hard work is where real change begins. -Katelynn Garry, LPCC

Maintaining Balance: How I Prioritize Well-Being to Serve Clients, Myself, and My Family

I approach work-life balance by keeping my personal and work phone separate. I also only use my office space at home for work purposes. When I shut my computer at the end of the day, I spend time with my family. I will go on walks, exercise, and stay caught up on my favorite reality tv shows! -Katelynn, LPCC
